Here in Bellingham, we are one community and the prosperity of every citizen matters. That is why Dr. Chen joined with over 300 volunteers and professional service providers to deliver help and services to over 500 of our neighbors in need.

Project Homeless Connect (PHC) is a national initiative launched by the U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness (USICH). Bellingham is proud to be one of over 700 communities that have joined the initiative since it’s inception, and Dr. Chen is proud to be a part of this wonderful effort to help those in our community who are struggling. Bellingham and Whatcom Project Homeless Connect (B/WPHC) was first adopted in 2007 during Phase 3 of the Whatcom County Plan to End Homelessness.
