What is a dental implant?

Dr. Chen will assess the dental implant site using x-rays an examination. Dr. Chen will also include a review of medical and dental history.

What are mini dental implants?
Mini dental implants have been historically used for the stabilization of temporary teeth while standard dental implants are healing. They are typically much smaller in diameter than regular dental implants, therefore can generally withstand less biting force. Mini dental implants are commonly used due to its lower cost. During the consultation, you can discuss with Dr. Chen to see if mini dental implants are suitable for your needs.
